To begin, Anna has been wanting to use big girl cups at meals now. Of course, I want to encourage this...but some of the inevitable effects of this have included messes and bizarre experiments with drinks.
One night this week, I returned from the kitchen to the dinner table and sat down. I noticed a murky shadow-like substance at the bottom of Anna's cup of Vitamin Water.
I decided closer inspection was warranted.
When I stood up to peer into the cup, this is what I saw:
I was then informed that Anna's peas had decided to "go swimming" in her drink. Hmm. I then informed Anna that that was fine with me - as long as all the peas were consumed. And they were.
How anyone could think that's appealing I don't know....but as we all know, a kid's brain can be a wonderfully strange place.
