Photos of the Week: T Rex!!!

Happy Monday, everyone!

As has become my habit, I ease into a new work week by posting the Photo of the Week.  So my affinity for Play-Doh creations is no surprise to anyone. However, I sort of developed a specialty in the area of one-eyed monsters. I haven't really been challenged beyond that.

Until recently, that is, when I was asked to attempt a dinosaur. Specifically, a T Rex.


I'm no artist, but I'm always up for a new adventure. So I tried.  This was my first attempt:

Yes, it looks like T Rex (a) needs an orthodontist, and (b) is reaching for a lollipop.  That was my poor attempt at a flower, which apparently is what a T Rex eats. Gotta check my dino history on that one but that's what I was told....ha ha.

Being the perfectionist that I am, I decided that I wasn't quite satisfied with this first effort.  A couple of days later, I tried again.  Here's what i came up with:

A slight improvement, but I'm still perfecting it. I think my next attempt will be a Stegoraurus.
