Hi everyone! A series of circumstances conspired to keep me away from my computer for a couple of days, but I've missed writing and am glad to be back blogging. Don't you hate it when work gets in the way of your fun?!
Anyway, I just wanted to wish you all a fabulous Labor Day! I hope you've been able to take some time off to relax with your families. I enjoyed a lovely afternoon at the beach with Anna and Heidi and our awesome friends. Fall is just around the corner and so I appreciate it all the more knowing these days are limited! The ocean felt great and, except for being stalked again by seagulls, it was very relaxing.

Labor Day has never been a tremendously important holiday to me - in fact, sometimes it's kind of a downer because I know summer is coming to and end and before too long, I'll be shoveling snow again. But, for some reason, I feel extra grateful this year.....grateful for my job, grateful for my family, and grateful for a day of reflection. I pushed myself extra hard doing chores around the house yesterday, as well as mowing the lawn, just so that I could truly relax today. I rarely let myself do that. I'm so glad I did!
