What Will They Think of Next?!

I'm addicted to my iPhone.  It is constantly with me, except for some occasions when I'm with Anna.

One fun thing about the iPhone is all of the awesome accessories you can get for it. I have a pretty basic case.  Because it has taken some hits (usually courtesy of Anna) and now has a faded, wrinkled Toy Story sticker on the back of it (also courtesy of Anna), I am in the market for a new, and hopefully tougher, case.

To infinity, and beyond!

So, I used some of my down time at work today to search for cases online. I had no clue how many were out there! It's one of those situations where having too many options seems almost frustrating.

In any event, I was browsing, thinking of something with a solid color or maybe, if it wasn't too expensive, a reproduction of The Great Wave, one of my favorite paintings.

And then I saw it, as I scrolled down through my Google results:

Yes, it's a Beaker iPhone 4 case.


For those of you who don't know, Anna LOVES Beaker.  (Check out the video of her "Muscle Beaker Dance" under the "Anna's Videos" tab.)  I can't tell you how many times we've watched the Beaker "Ode to Joy" video on YouTube.

We used to "meep" at each other constantly, dissolving into ridiculous laughter.  I even went so far as to design and order matching Beaker shirts for us.

So now there is this case.  It's not exactly the kind of case I was looking for. And it's kind of a weird likeness of Beaker. But it is kind of fun! Anna would love it, but I'm not sure I'm ready to take the plunge - you know, considering that I am a lawyer in my mid-30s and not a kid.  Could I take myself seriously in a meeting (not that I have many), talking on my Beaker phone??
